About Us
The Institute is established in 1959, with " Soda Research &Design Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry" as its former name. This name is given by Ph.D. Debang Hou, the famous scientist, soda production expert, vice minister of the former Ministry of Chemical Industry. It' s a high-tech enterprise with R&D, Production, Information and Trade in one. It has been authorized with the right of Self Import and Export. It' s mainly engaged in New Chemical Products, New Technology' s researching and production, Designing for chemical industry and construction, Services of Chemical Anticorrosion and Chemical Cleaning, editing and publishing two magazines which are Fine Chemicals and Soda Industry.

The institute is confirmed as Municipal Enterprise Technological Centre of Dalian in 2008 and Provincial Enterprise Technology Centre in 2010; it is confirmed as National Hi-Tech Enterprise in 2010; it is confirmed as Dalian IPR Pilot Enterprise in 2009; it has got ISO9001 Certificate of the system of quality certification; it is awarded with "contract-abiding and trustworthy" enterprise by provincial and municipal Industrial & Commercial Bureau for many years; it is assessed as Inspection Exemption enterprise by Dalian Municipal Industrial & Commercial Bureau for years. Our Institute is the vice director enterprise of China Soda Industry Association. Information Dept. of China Soda Industry Association and China Soda Industry Information Station; the supporting enterprise of China Inorganic Chemical Committee (Soda) and Dalian Corrosion & Protection Society. |
